Put the 21st of February of next year on your calendar for the annual Winter Party. More details will be forthcoming from event co-founder Bruce Younglove regarding the schedule.

Mark your calendars to attend our Eleventh Annual Winter Party which will include a pizza lunch, tour of Kuck Motorsports, shuffleboard tourney, social hour, Famous Dave’s catered dinner and our famous lively charity auction. It’s a great time for all to mix with your SORC friends, drivers, navigators, SORC board members, volunteers, land owners, sponsors and car enthusiasts from near and far. Check out the day’s schedule below and get your tickets today. Our Winter Party is limited to the first 225 people to buy tickets. Act fast because our party has sold out the past nine years. We will have a special event this year at 1:30 PM at Kuck Motorsports – “Inside the Car Auction World”. Matt Moravec, one of Mecum’s top auctioneers, will be our special guest along with Mecum Ringman, Mitch Bartunek. Also, retired former Mecum Marketing and Advertising Manager, now Mecum Consultant Tom Christmann will add his expertise. Dr. Sam Bryant, veteran SORC racer, will emcee the interview with time for a Q&A session. Matt and Mitch will give us a demo and auction off a Winter Party item that everyone will love. It might be a Mustang or Corvette or a NASCAR or  ?
What fun. Fifty bucks will get you in the door of Kuck Motorsports for the Valentino’s pizza lunch and tour, shuffleboard tourney, social with cold beer, soft drinks and snacks, door prizes, Famous Dave’s catered dinner with all the trimmings and of course, our famous auction with professional auctioneer Russ Puchalla of Heartland Auctions selling guns, tools, fun stuff that men, women, sons, daughters and grandkids alike will love. We already have some really great items to auction including a brand new 26 inch Schwinn bicycle , a 50 inch HD flatscreen TV, a C-7 Corvette motorized electric car for kids and lots of other fun things including guns, tools, and race stuff. Newsflash: We will also auction off a SORC Lifetime grid spot. The lifetime grid spot will guarantee the successful bidder an entry into the SORC events for life. Don’t miss this exciting SORC/ORR Winter Party. Maps to event sites will be mailed out with your tickets.
Doors open at Kuck Motorsports at 11 AM – pizza lunch at noon – shuffleboard tourney and social time at Schmidt’s at 4 pm – dinner at 6 and auction at 7. Proceeds from our auction will be used to enhance the safety of the SORC events and to support the hardworking volunteers who help make our race happen.

The proceeds from the SORC "Lifer" number will be donated to the fund to help the Dailey family with medical costs for Al's cancer treatments. This is a great way to guarantee your future entry and to help Al and Becky. Bring your checkbook.
