Here is one last chance to get into the 2015 SORC. On this Saturday, February 21st, an entry into the 2015 Sandhills Open Road Challenge will be auctioned off at the SORC winter party in Emerald, NE. Please help me get the word out since this is such short notice.
NAPA Auto Parts is putting up its spot in the race to help two young families from the Arnold community. The families are Justin and Jailyn Strasburg; and Zach Lewis and Kayli Paul. Both families are seeking help to offset medical bills from complications of recent births of their children, please see attachment for more information.
Last year NAPA donated its entry to help a fellow racer overcome medical bills, it brought in around $5000 and worked out so well we want to try it again. If you did not get a ticket to the winter party, and are wanting to place a max bid, please let myself or someone else attending know how much you are willing to spend to get an entry into the race and help out 2 young families in need.
