Question, which material was correct? The rule book which stated 90 as fastest speed class for first timer, or entry form which stated 95?

95 is pretty fast for a 1st time run on that course. Most of the corners are blind and it takes a few times at speed and a good video to figure out where you can go fast and where you can't. It doesn't get much publicity because the damage so far has been minimal or cosmetic, likely from the lower speeds and sheer luck, but they are averaging about 4X the spins/carnage per mile in the L2L than at the SORC.
There were multiple cars that went through the grass at this year's L2L. Being the sandhills, going through the grass is OK sometimes, but other times the sand stops you dead in you tracks and bad things can happen.

I'm fine with 90 if that is the max, don't want to risk an off that would make the car unusable for the SORC.
Just figured doing the L2L would maximize my trip, hate to pass it up.
