I don't remember the exact number but I know that the SORC has sold out on the first day of registration for at least the last five years. This year is no different and we filled the grid with entries postmarked on the first day of registration October 5th. The waiting list is not as long as usual so if someone wanted to submit an entry they would have a good shot at this years event. The green and red postcards will be mailed by November 15. August ain't that far away.

A typo I presume? No post office near me is open on Sunday, so my registration didn't get postmarked until the 6th of October.

lanny866: Postage machines at the post office provide a purchase date on the postage to affix to the entry and a receipt that can be included in the entry envelope that has a time stamp on it. Is this acceptable as a Postmark? Please reply as time permits. Thanks Sept 25, 2015 11:01:31 GMT -6
